Apostolic Praise Tabernacle was born out of a vision to see Southwest Florida transformed by the power of the Gospel. Located in Fort Myers, FL, we are a church that believes the best days of the Church are still ahead.

Led by Pastor Phil and Taylor Locke, APT is a place where people from all walks of life come together around one thing: a genuine relationship with Jesus Christ. We're not a perfect church — but we are a passionate one.

Whether you've grown up in church your whole life or you've never stepped inside one, you will find a home here. We mean it when we say: everyone is welcome.

Our Beliefs

What We Believe

Our faith is rooted in the Word of God. These are the core beliefs that anchor everything we do.

The Bible

We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible Word of God — our final authority for faith and how we live.

One God

We believe in one God who has fully revealed Himself as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit through Jesus Christ.

Salvation

We are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ — expressed in repentance, baptism in His name, and receiving the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit

We believe every believer can be filled with the Holy Spirit, empowered to live a life that glorifies God.

The Church

We believe the local church is God's design for community, discipleship, and advancing the Kingdom on earth.

Eternity

We believe in the resurrection of the dead and the promise of eternal life for all who place their trust in Jesus Christ.

Phil & Taylor Locke

Phil and Taylor Locke lead Apostolic Praise Tabernacle with a shared heart for people and a passion for the presence of God. Together they've built a church where every person is welcomed, known, and challenged to grow deeper in their relationship with Jesus Christ.
