Sixty-five years of God's faithfulness in Fort Myers — from a small congregation on New York Drive to the church family we are today.
Bro. Robert Elkins, from New Castle, Indiana, became the first pastor. The first building was located on New York Dr.

The church purchased 1 acre of land at 3920 Ballard Rd. and built a new church building.

A larger building was constructed to accommodate the growing congregation.

Rev. Les and Kathy Bruce were voted to be the new pastors of the church in Fort Myers.

The church building was sold.

The church began holding services at the Villas Community Center while trusting God for the next chapter.

Purchased 6 acres on Plantation Rd. — the property the church still calls home today.

Ground was broken and construction began on the current sanctuary.

Construction was completed and the new building opened for worship.

Reverend Phil and Taylor Locke were voted to be the pastors of Apostolic Praise Tabernacle.

The story isn't finished. We believe the best days of APT are still ahead as we continue to help people Find Him, Follow Him, and Flourish In Him.

God is still writing the story of Apostolic Praise Tabernacle — and there's a place for you in it.
